[ Go to K-12 ] University of Portland - Franz Hall Portland, Oregon Mechanical and electrical design of five story, 75,000 square foot classroom and administration building. The facility includes 30 classrooms (10 lecture style rooms) and 4 computer/classroom labs with the upper two floors housing administrative offices. Two classrooms are interactive spaces that utilize special computer and communication systems. University of Portland - Waldschmidt Hall Portland, Oregon Mechanical and electrical design for a 37,000 square foot historic renovation. The project was designed and constructed in six phases allowing continued operation of the school administrative services. The completed building houses the college administration, private offices, several classrooms and the university president. Portland State University - Smith Memorial Center HVAC Upgrades and Penthouse Addition Portland, Ore. Mechanical and electrical design for the replacement of existing supply and exhaust fans serving approximately 60,000 square feet of space in the building. The work involved phasing the project allowing the old HVAC system to continue to operate until most of the new system was installed and ready for change over. Portland State University - Smith Memorial Center Childcare, Portland State University Portland, Oregon 3200 square foot remodel to house a new childcare facility. The existing HVAC system was heavily modified to allow for the change of occupancy that was required. A new Type II vapor hood and exhaust system for kitchen area was added. Special plumbing fixtures were used for toddlers’ area. Portland State University - Shattuck Hall Computer Room Expansion/Terminal Room Portland, Oregon Mechanical and electrical design for installation of new mechanical systems and modifications to existing systems to serve a 1500 square foot computer room expansion and a 6450 square foot terminal and operations area expansion. Marylhurst College - Flavia Hall Renovation Marylhurst, Oregon Mechanical and electrical design for the renovation of existing space into science classrooms, meeting rooms and offices. The project also included lighting design for an existing assembly room. The project was accomplished in multiple phases to accommodate the college funding program. Reed College Portland, Oregon Chemistry Building Renovation and Greenhouse Addition, Mechanical and electrical renovations of two chemistry labs, classroom and office space. A related project included mechanical and electrical design for an 800 square foot research greenhouse.
